Beekeepers your body needs to be protected! It is always advisable that you wear protective clothing, bee gloves and boots when working with bees. Ensure you are double-checked before you begin an inspection.
Best size for a beekeeper with a weight range of about 120 -135kg and about 1.9 – 2m tall.
Make sure the overall is washed in a cold wash. Some shrinking is to be expected and this is one reason we recommend beekeepers take a size larger than they usually do.
Other reasons would be due to it being hot and sweaty inside the bee suit. With a larger size you get some air between you and the bees and room for your body to breathe.
