Bee Suits Small – with attachable veil
Beekeepers your body needs to be protected! It is always advisable that you wear protective clothing, bee gloves and boots when working with bees. Ensure you are double-checked before you begin an inspection.
Make sure the overall is washed in a cold wash. Some shrinking is to be expected and this is one reason we recommend beekeepers take a size larger than they usually do. Also, wear some thick cotton shirt underneath to avoid where the bee suit makes contact with the skin in tight places as bee stings can still just reach the skin through the bull denim cotton.
Other reasons would be due to it being hot and sweaty inside the bee suit. With a larger size, you get some air between you and the bees and room for your body to breathe.
